With consumerism there’s always going to be waste. Our goal is for all materials used to make your order from start to finish be reusable, easily recyclable, or create minimal waste. You will not find extras in your package that their only purpose is to enhance the “aesthetic” of your unboxing experience.

We do our best to only use eco-friendly mailers and shipping supplies, and purchase local or Canadian made items wherever possible. When unavoidable, we order large quantities to minimize the frequency we need to repurchase, reducing our carbon footprint. We also reuse boxes and mailers (especially those that can’t be recycled) so don’t be surprised if you find an oddly marked box or package containing plastic from us - we’re just trying to give it a second life!

For our products, we use light weight corrugated cardboard boxes for convenient reuse or recycling which we hand stamp with our branding, and create our products around our packaging so they fit in a compact manner to avoid the use of shipping fillers. We use tissue paper to protect the contents of each order which can later be used to wrap your completed piece in the box your supplies arrived in for gift-giving, or saved for use at later date.

For our kits we only provide the amount of thread needed to complete each pattern (with a bit extra for stitching discrepancies or minor “frogging”), plus one needle and embroidery hoop. Most of our patterns are designed with the intent to be framed within it. And our thank you notes double as a piece of art that you can frame and hang if desired.
